Job description:
Our client is an excellent employer in the Peterborough area with a family feel.
They are currently recruiting for a purchase ledger clerk to work in a small team.
You will be responsible for all areas of purchase ledger and will also get involved in sales ledger and some general administration.
Duties will include;
· Inputting purchase invoices
· Allocating to cost codes
· Dealing with enquiries
· Account and statement reconciliation
· BACS payment runs
· Producing sales invoices
· Allocating payments
· Ad hoc administration duties
The successful candidate will have experience of accounts, primarily purchase ledger, but ideally other areas of accounts administration too.
Knowledge of Sage would be an advantage but not essential.
The preferred method of recruitment for this role is temp to perm but outstanding permanent candidates will also be considered.
The right person will have a friendly and outgoing approach to their work and be happy to learn new skills.
