Our client is a friendly employer based in St Neots.  Due to an internal move, they are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team and report in to the Financial Controller.

You will be principally responsible for the management accounting side of accounts and you duties will include;

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Profit and loss
• Balance sheet
• Production of financial and non-financial information reporting to company management
• Corporation tax returns
• Bank reconciliations
• Cash flow projections
• Budgeting
• Fixed assets
• Intrastat reporting

The successful candidate will be a qualified or part qualified accountant and will have a strong background in accounts, including management accounts.

Strong Excel skills are very important alongside the ability to interact well at all levels.
